For move-outs, we clean to landlord-and-letting-agent standards. We know what they're looking for, what they'll dock your deposit over, and where they always check first. Our move-out checklist is built around getting your full deposit back.

For move-ins, we get there before you do (or the day before) and reset the whole place. Every surface, every cupboard, every appliance. By the time the moving truck arrives, you're starting fresh in a home that genuinely is fresh.

Common questions about move cleaning

Will a Scrubhub move-out clean meet landlord standards?
Yes — that’s exactly what it’s built for. We clean to the same standard as professional inventory companies and end-of-tenancy services. Many of our clients send our cleaning receipt to their landlord as proof, and we can provide photos of the finished state on request.
Do I need to be there during the clean?
No. Most of our move-out clients can’t be — they’re moving. Leave us a key or set us up with a code, and we’ll handle everything. We’ll lock up and message you a summary when we’re done.
How far in advance should I book?
For move-outs, 1-2 weeks ahead is ideal — the last week before a move date gets very busy. For move-ins, we can usually slot you in within a few days. Need it tomorrow? Ring us — we’ll do what we can.
What if my landlord still tries to dock my deposit?
If something we cleaned gets flagged, we’ll come back at no extra cost and re-do it. We can also provide a detailed clean report and photos to push back on unfair deposit deductions. We’ve helped clients win these arguments before.
Can you clean after the moving truck has gone?
Yes — that’s actually ideal. We can’t properly clean around furniture, so an empty property cleans much better. Just let us know what time the truck leaves and we’ll schedule from then.
